Yenigün signed the contract for Kandahar Waste Water Treatment Project .

Yenigün signed a new contract in the Kandahar airfield in Afghanistan where the company has been actively working for the last six years. The contract for the KAF waste water treatment plant was signed a few days ago with the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA) authorities and shall serve to treat water for the totality of the airfield which today figures among the biggest military bases of the region. The Project comprise a raw waste water pumping station, a forced main connecting to the plant, preliminary treatment unit for separation of screenings and grit, biological oxidation stage based on SBR process, UV disinfection, final effluent pumping station with a discharge pipe line and sludge dewatering. The Project is planned to be completed in an ambitious time period of 12 months including design, supply, erection and testing.We would like to wish our site team the best of luck and success.
