The idea of using the house that the Yenigün family has been using for generations as their domicile and to transform it into a picturesque boutique hotel, has finally been realized. The official opening took place in October. The restoration of the building was done by keeping its appearance in line with its original typical style, solely using Midyat stones for the construction. The restoration works which were made to preserve the historical quality of the building also comprised the inclusion of all kinds of modern conveniences to the facility. LOCATION AND SURROUNDING HISTORICAL STRUCTURES; Located 75 km from the Mardin airport in the historical center of the Midyat province, the Kasr’ı Nehroz boutique hotel is 18 km from the St. Gabriel monastery built by St. Samuel and St. Shemun in 397 A.C..
